If there's one cigar factory that's famous in Havana, it's Partagas. Founded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas, it is located in the heart of Havana, on Calle Industria 520. You can tell a Partagas by its deep, earthy aroma. The typical character of the blend comes from a selection of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, chosen for their very rich aromas. Partagas offers a wide choice of vitolas. The best known are Series D No. 4, Series P No. 2, Lusitanias and 8-9-8. All are tripa larga, totalmente a mano.Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.

The cigar shares the same dimensions as all Cuban pirámides, but the Partagás Serie P No. 2 actually smokes better than them. Bursting with black pepper, coffee beans, leather and sweet cappuccino notes, the cigars are powerful and complex, loaded with bold Cuban flavours. This Partagás cigar shows a real evolution: it has been transformed into something incredible, a perfect example of the level of quality of cigars made in Cuba today. However, beginners are not advised to start with such an outburst of personality.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
