If there's one cigar factory that's famous in Havana, it's Partagas. Founded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas, it is located in the heart of Havana, on Calle Industria 520. You can tell a Partagas by its deep, earthy aroma. The typical character of the blend comes from a selection of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, chosen for their very rich aromas. Partagas offers a wide choice of vitolas. The best known are Series D No. 4, Series P No. 2, Lusitanias and 8-9-8. All are tripa larga, totalmente a mano.

The cigar shares the same dimensions as all Cuban pirámides, but the Partagás Serie P No. 2 actually smokes better than them. Bursting with black pepper, coffee beans, leather and sweet cappuccino notes, the cigars are powerful and complex, loaded with bold Cuban flavours. This Partagás cigar shows a real evolution: it has been transformed into something incredible, a perfect example of the level of quality of cigars made in Cuba today. However, beginners are not advised to start with such an outburst of personality.
