VegaFina celebrates the 10th anniversary of its Nicaragua range, launched in 2014, with a very special limited edition. Inspired by the richness of the soil and the unique climate of Nicaragua, the Grupo de Maestros at Tabacalera de García created a Gran Reserva cigar using an exceptional blend of the finest Nicaraguan tobaccos, meticulously aged for over five years to achieve a perfect balance of flavor and aroma. The selected vitola is a Parejo format with a 50 ring gauge and a length of 168 mm, offering an enjoyable smoking experience of approximately 70 to 80 minutes. The VegaFina Nicaragua X Aniversario Gran Reserva stands out with floral, woody, toasted, and smoky notes, complemented by hints of almond, touches of coffee, honey, and vanilla. The strength begins gently, then gradually intensifies to reach a medium to medium-full level. A creamy smoke with evolving strength.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
