This brand bears the name of what is considered Cuba's finest veguero: Don Alejandro Robaina. He inherited a small 18-hectare property in San Luis. This property has just been enlarged by the state, which has offered Don Alejandro a further ten hectares.

Paradoxically, Cuba wanted to pay tribute to the private vegueros who form the backbone of tobacco production.

The Robaina family, which specializes in growing wrapper leaves under tapados, achieves unique results. Over 70% of production is approved for export, whereas most fincas rarely exceed 20 or 30%. Don Alejandro alone dresses over a million Havanas!
