Collection: Montecristo

Montecristo is, without doubt, the most famous and universally appreciated brand of Habanos. The brand owes its name to the hero of Alexandre Dumas' famous novel, “The Count of Montecristo”, which was much appreciated by the torcedores (cigar rollers) at the factory in Havana, where the brand was created in 1935.

Initially, the Montecristo range was limited to five vitolas, simply designated by numbers from 1 to 5. Over the years, and to better meet the desires of the most demanding connoisseurs, other modules were launched, from the majestic Montecristo A to the delicate little Joyitas and the magnificent 'Edmundo'.

The particularly well-balanced Montecristo ligada (blend) is made exclusively from carefully selected leaves grown in the Vuelta Abajo region, home of the world's finest tobaccos. Its refined aromas and very typical, powerful taste will appeal to newcomers and experienced connoisseurs alike.
