After meticulous rolling, these cigars undergo a unique 10-year ageing process in specially designed cedar wood chambers at VegaFina in La Romana, Dominican Republic. The result is a very pleasant smoke with creamy, sweet notes of coffee and molasses. The vitola chosen for the occasion is a Magnum, a cigar with a calibre of 54 and a length of 140 mm, which is not part of the line's standard portfolio. The VegaFina Fortaleza 2 Reposado 10 años is presented in an attractive box containing 10 cigars.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
