Brand Story 

As an R&D researcher for 47 years, it's natural for Rod to look for a solution to any problem or frustration he encounters. And having a solid background in science and mechanical engineering is no stranger to this approach. Rod's journey into creating innovative cigar accessories began with a few frustrations that simply drove him mad! 
One of his favourite cigars, the Cuban Montecristo No. 2, has a tapered end. When he smokes a tapered cigar, Rod doesn't like to cut the tip too much. But he has consistently struggled with the extreme narrowness of the draw with this particular cigar. Preferring a slightly lighter draw resistance, Rod found that he often encountered cigars with firmer draws than he preferred. After an exhaustive search for an effective draw tool, Rod found nothing! Nothing on the market seemed to work. This led him to create what later became known as the PerfecDraw, not only his best-known accessory, but also a whole range of high-quality accessories.

Why are there small windproof ashtrays for cigarettes, but not the same large ones for cigars? We've asked ourselves that question. So we decided to produce our own cigar ashtray: "The Grid". The design of the grid keeps cigars in place while you enjoy them. Ashes and cigarette ends fall through the sufficiently large grid directly into the area protected from the wind. And out of the picture at the same time. Intelligent. Up to a maximum of 8 cigars can be placed on The Grid. The Grid can also be engraved (1 to 4 pieces) or laser-engraved (from 5 pieces) on each side with a logo, coat of arms, name, etc.
