Clase Azul Plata Tequila
Clase Azul Plata Tequila
Description
Brand Story
Premium tequilas and mezcals that you don't "down" as a shot or as a cocktail ingredient, but rather taste in peace like an old scotch, are on the rise. Arturo Lomeli can tell you a thing or two about that. In 1997, he began marketing his rather cheaply produced tequila in a stereotypical bottle with a sombrero and moustache. He soon found himself back at school - the subject was "luxury marketing". In 2007, the Clase Azul Ultra was launched on the market for US$ 1,200 and was very well received. Since then, the company has specialized in the high-end market segment for tequila and mezcal. These carefully painted ceramic bottles, reminiscent of oversized pepper mills, are a real eye-catcher. Apart from a golden ornament, each bottle bears the signature of the master distiller and the indigenous artist (from the Mazahua people) who designed it.
