Brand Story 

The introduction of Silencio Black cigars followed about a year after the classic Silencio Red Dot. A striking design element, the red dot in the letter 'O', will be familiar to many cigar aficionados. In the USA, this red dot adorns the 'O' in the Cohiba logo. However, due to trademark restrictions, these cigars cannot be sold under the original name in Europe. The brand has therefore been renamed Silencio for the European market. In Europe, Cuban brands such as Havana, Vuelta Abajo, Cohiba and Montecristo can only be used for products that are actually made in Cuba. The Scandinavian parent company Tobacco Group (STG) and its distributor General Cigars were convinced of the success of the blend in the United States and saw the potential for the European market. Silencio Red Dot cigars hit the market in the summer of 2021, followed by the Maduro variant shown here, Silencio Black, around a year later.

Product Detail 

Silencio Black cigars offer a multi-faceted taste experience with notes of earth, coffee, leather, pepper and dark chocolate. A broad leaf from the United States is used as the wrapper leaf. These include Piloto Dominican tobaccos and a strong blend of Dominican, Mexican and Nicaraguan tobaccos.
