With its 100 mills, Marie-Galante has always been the island of sugar cane. The Bielle Distillery was founded at the end of the 19th century. It developed over time under different owners. Sugar production was no longer needed in the small "Sucrottes" and was replaced by a distillery producing agricultural rum. The Bielle Distillery continues the old tradition of producing agricultural rum from pure sugar cane juice.

Bielle Vieux 3 Ans is an excellent aged agricultural rum from Marie Galante, lively and silky, young and ambitious. It is a well-balanced, fruity rum. This old agricultural rum is the signature of the Bielle distillery. The fact that it is aged in mellow white wine casks adds a touch of pastry, making this pure cane juice a fine entry into the world of agricultural rums. Bielle elegance made accessible.

Tasting Notes

Nose : rainwater, lime turning to yellow lemon juice in the fridge, fresh and pastry-like cane. In short, a zesty lemon meringue pie in the rain.

Palate : A greedy, fat attack with flaked almonds, mascarpone, egg cream, cinnamon galore, iodine and a touch of citrus.

Finish : Drier, but the retro-olfaction is still oily and spicy. Meringue and lime zest.
