The smoothness and measured strength of Quintero make its vitolas particularly recommended for those new to the world of Habanos. Quintero is one of the few Habanos brands created outside Havana, where Augustín Quintero and his four brothers founded their factory in Cienfuegos, the "Pearl of the South". Quintero cigars are made from a selection of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region.

The Quintero Panetela is a small cigar with a certain simplicity. A good burn and a perfect draw give it a mild, slightly spicy taste with a slight aftertaste of white pepper.
