Quai d'Orsay is a brand designed specifically for the French market. Created in the 1970s, it takes its name from the famous quays along the Seine in Paris. All its vitolas, which are designed to be light, are made from a combination of leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region and dressed in Claro (wax) or Colorado Claro (light brown) capes. All are Totalmento a Mano, Trip Larga (entirely handmade, long filler).Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.

The new Quai D’Orsay Especial D’Orsay vitola will be marketed worldwide in a special box containing 20 Habanos, as well as in a 5-unit gift pack specially designed for the occasion.

Habanos S.A. celebrated the 50th anniversary of Quai D’Orsay one of its most sophisticated brands, which has experienced significant international growth in recent years during the midweek evening of the XXIV Habano Festival. The event took place at the prestigious Salón de Protocolo Cubanacán (Laguito), an exclusive venue that combined elegance with the cultural richness of the Franco-Cuban alliance, paying tribute to half a century of tradition and excellence in front of more than 500 guests.

This celebration provided the perfect opportunity to introduce the Quai D’Orsay Especial D’Orsay vitola (Ø 53 x 153 mm), an exclusive Habano which, due to its dimensions, is unique within the brand’s portfolio. This limited-edition vitola, featuring a commemorative band, is presented in a special box of 20 Habanos and a 5-unit gift pack created exclusively for this exceptional launch.

The 5-cigar gift pack will be available in Switzerland from January 20, 2026, at Casa del Habano.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
