Brand Story 

As an R&D researcher for 47 years, it's natural for Rod to look for a solution to any problem or frustration he encounters. And having a solid background in science and mechanical engineering is no stranger to this approach. Rod's journey into creating innovative cigar accessories began with a few frustrations that simply drove him mad! 
One of his favourite cigars, the Cuban Montecristo No. 2, has a tapered end. When he smokes a tapered cigar, Rod doesn't like to cut the tip too much. But he has consistently struggled with the extreme narrowness of the draw with this particular cigar. Preferring a slightly lighter draw resistance, Rod found that he often encountered cigars with firmer draws than he preferred. After an exhaustive search for an effective draw tool, Rod found nothing! Nothing on the market seemed to work. This led him to create what later became known as the PerfecDraw, not only his best-known accessory, but also a whole range of high-quality accessories.

Product Detail

Typical cigar punches use blades that are too thick and the grinding angle too large. The grinding is generally done on the outside, resulting in poor piercing and the cover sheet tearing. The PerfecPunch & Stand uses the finest 440C hot-tempered steel blades. The hardness level is the highest possible at HRC60. Competitors often only use HRC57 or lower. What's more, competitors' blades are 3 to 4 times thicker. PerfecPunch & Stand is also sharpened like the sharpest knives in the world: sushi knives.
