Brand Story

As an R&D researcher for 47 years, it's natural for Rod to look for a solution to any problem or frustration he encounters. And having a solid background in science and mechanical engineering is no stranger to this approach. Rod's journey into creating innovative cigar accessories began with a few frustrations that simply drove him mad! 
One of his favourite cigars, the Cuban Montecristo No. 2, has a tapered end. When he smokes a tapered cigar, Rod doesn't like to cut the tip too much. But he has consistently struggled with the extreme narrowness of the draw with this particular cigar. Preferring a slightly lighter draw resistance, Rod found that he often encountered cigars with firmer draws than he preferred. After an exhaustive search for an effective draw tool, Rod found nothing! Nothing on the market seemed to work. This led him to create what later became known as the PerfecDraw, not only his best-known accessory, but also a whole range of high-quality accessories.

How annoyed my wife was, "Why do I have to keep carrying your cigar accessories?" "Well, because you have a bag and I don't." was my answer every time. And I admit it: how many times did I have to look for my accessories somewhere: in my trouser pocket, in my jacket, in my shirt pocket. No more of that! The inventor of PerfecDraw has also thought of something here: in many cases, you simply want to carry your own cigar accessories, which may be valuable (a nice lighter, etc.), because the cigars are already in the living room anyway. So you don't need an oversized bag. It's all about the accessories. And nothing more.
