If there's one cigar factory that's famous in Havana, it's Partagas. Founded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas, it is located in the heart of Havana, on Calle Industria 520. You can tell a Partagas by its deep, earthy aroma. The typical character of the blend comes from a selection of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, chosen for their very rich aromas. Partagas offers a wide choice of vitolas. The best known are Series D No. 4, Series P No. 2, Lusitanias and 8-9-8. All are tripa larga, totalmente a mano.
Product Detail
This Habanos has a smooth, slightly ribbed, colorado wrapper with little oil. Well finished with a triple cap. The construction is solid. Raw, it reveals nuances of chicory and liquorice. Once lit, this vitola shows its Cuban character: powerful, sensitive and balanced. The aromas present can be described as cedar, cinnamon, chocolate and pepper. Towards the end, it gains in complexity.
