This Blend of the World has been created from whiskies produced at the Yoichi and Miyagikyo distilleries, masterfully blended with whisky from Scotland's renowned Ben Nevis distillery.

As Nikka's first Blend Whisky of the World, it's fitting that the Japanese and Scottish spirits are married 100 years after the wedding of Nikka founder Mastataka Taketsuru and his beloved Scottish wife Rita Cowan. It's a wonderful tribute to those who made it all possible. We are extremely proud to present this limited edition, created specifically for the Japanese market. Presented in a beautiful matt blue bottle, with a music-inspired illustration and the name 'Session' embellished on the label.

Tasting Notes

Nose : Refreshing orange and apple aroma with a sweet and salty malt flavour. A soft, pleasant vanilla aroma from the barrel.

Palate : Smooth and creamy on the palate. Light, fruity taste in harmony with the sweetness of the oak.

Finish : Slightly bitter taste with a lingering peaty aftertaste that spreads slowly.
