Brand Story 

Montecristo is without doubt the most famous and universally appreciated brand of Habanos. The brand owes its name to the hero of Alexandre Dumas' famous novel, “The Count of Montecristo”, which was much appreciated by the torcedores (cigar rollers) at the factory in Havana, where the brand was created in 1935.

The Montecristo Open line differs from the other cigars in the Montecristo range in that it has a lighter aromatic strength that will satisfy both experienced cigar aficionados and those new to cigars. Montecristo Open cigars go particularly well with wines and spirits.

The particularly well-balanced Montecristo ligada (blend) is made exclusively from carefully selected leaves grown in the Vuelta Abajo region, home of the world's finest tobaccos.

Product Detail

The Open Regata is a little reminiscent of its big brother the Montecristo No. 2, but it is smoother and a little shorter.
Like all the cigars in the Open series, the Regata is ideal for beginners. The draw is perfect, and towards the end of the last third, the typical notes of the brand are revealed.
