Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.
Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.

Brand Story
The oldest cigar factory in the Dominican Republic. La Aurora was founded on 3 October 1903 by Eduardo León Jimenes, the hard-working son and grandson of tobacco farmers. Without neglecting his family tradition, he decided to use his knowledge to develop a cigar brand with worldwide appeal. At the age of 18, the founder inherited a few 'tareas' of land and began to realise his dream with a small staff of six, great enthusiasm and a great deal of effort. Today, more than 115 years later, La Aurora is a family business with a presence on five continents, employing more than a thousand people and, under the leadership of his grandson Guillermo León Herbert, continuing to cultivate the La Aurora values: honesty, integrity, a passion for excellence and good relations with suppliers and employees.
