It was in the 1870s that a Spanish businessman, Juan Lopez, set up his own factory and named it after himself.

The 'La Flor de Juan Lopez' brand was created in 1876. Made from the finest leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, the brand was considered one of the leading brands for 2 decades.Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.

This brand has been unjustly neglected for a long time. Selection no. 1 is only produced in limited quantities in a quality that borders on perfection. Even before lighting, you can smell the fragrant notes of hay and wood.
The pleasure after lighting is always accompanied by woody notes, to which is added a taste of noble, creamy chocolate in the middle third. The flavors are well measured and the strength is perceptible, but never disturbing or overwhelming. In the final third, the cigar bids farewell with a delicate, spicy peppery note. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
