The brand's namesake, Hermann Upmann, was the son of a Bremen banker who founded this famous cigar factory in Havana in 1844. After some difficult years, the factory had to be sold in 1937, but today it still guarantees top quality and produces light, medium-sized Havana cigars, with a significant export component. The tobacco comes exclusively from the Vuelta Abajo region. Incidentally, H. Upmann was John F. Kennedy's favourite brand.
Product Detail
No. 2 from H. Upmann is a great representative of the piramide family. Beautiful leaves, a perfect finish and fine notes of cedarwood and spices almost make you want to light another one. The strength remains in the medium range and the aromas develop from a quiet, gentle start to an extremely flavoursome finish, complemented by notes of dried fruit, cocoa and coffee.
