Quai d'Orsay is a brand designed specifically for the French market. Created in the 1970s, it takes its name from the famous quays along the Seine in Paris. All its vitolas, which are designed to be light, are made from a combination of leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region and dressed in Claro (wax) or Colorado Claro (light brown) capes. All are Totalmento a Mano, Trip Larga (entirely handmade, long filler).

The Quai d'Orsay Corona was available in two versions, Coronas Claro and Coronas Claro Claro. The name behind ‘Coronas’ refers to the colour of the packaging, which in the first case means Colorado Claro (chestnut brown) and in the second case ‘Clarissimo’, which means almost green. However, the second version has disappeared over time. The Quai d'Orsay Corona Claro pampers smokers with pleasant cocoa flavours, combined with woody notes and earthy tones. It is exceptionally mild for a Cuban cigar, making it ideal for beginners.

Description
Brand Story
The brand's namesake, Hermann Upmann, was the son of a Bremen banker who founded this famous cigar factory in Havana in 1844. After some difficult years, the factory had to be sold in 1937, but today it still guarantees top quality and produces light, medium-sized Havana cigars, with a significant export component. The tobacco comes exclusively from the Vuelta Abajo region. Incidentally, H. Upmann was John F. Kennedy's favourite brand.
Product Detail
The Magnum 54 was first presented at the Festival del Habano in February 2016. It is the shortest cigar in the regular Magnum series with the largest ring gauge. A selection of the finest Vuelta Abajo tobacco leaves was used in its production. Its profile is fairly mild and aromatic, with mainly almond nibs.
