Guantanamera (literally "from Guantanamo") is the name of a famous guajira (slow song) by Cuban singer Joseito Fernandez, written around 1928. Considered to be the best-known Cuban song, it is also one of the most covered songs in the world. It is also used as the equivalent of a national symbol. Although not listed on the Habanos sa website, this brand represents the entry-level of Cuban production. It offers only mechanically-produced vitolas made from short tripe.Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.

In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
