Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.

Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.

The two together make the heart of this original tobacco blend beat faster. Dominican tripe tobaccos and an Ecuadorian wrapper complete the experience in a balanced way. The blend will captivate you from the start, when spicy aromas meet sweet aromas: Chile pepper is surrounded by softer and creamy notes. Soon, in the second third, aromas of oak, licorice, fruit, salt and leather are added. Finally, the aromas of coffee and chocolate crown the experience in a finish of enchanting complexity.
