Quai d'Orsay is a brand designed specifically for the French market. Created in the 1970s, it takes its name from the famous quays along the Seine in Paris. All its vitolas, which are designed to be light, are made from a combination of leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region and dressed in Claro (wax) or Colorado Claro (light brown) capes. All are Totalmento a Mano, Trip Larga (entirely handmade, long filler).

The Quai d'Orsay Corona was available in two versions, Coronas Claro and Coronas Claro Claro. The name behind ‘Coronas’ refers to the colour of the packaging, which in the first case means Colorado Claro (chestnut brown) and in the second case ‘Clarissimo’, which means almost green. However, the second version has disappeared over time. The Quai d'Orsay Corona Claro pampers smokers with pleasant cocoa flavours, combined with woody notes and earthy tones. It is exceptionally mild for a Cuban cigar, making it ideal for beginners.

"The Late Hour Series" Robusto - a more intense and spicy experience than the same format of "The Original Series". The Nicaraguan Condega tobacco used in "The Late Hour Series", which has been aged in the finest single Scotch whisky casks, makes this cigar more intense and spicy than its original counterpart, giving it extra smoothness and deep flavours. The use of tobacco leaves from higher leaf levels (Visus instead of Seco) also gives a more powerful effect to the cask-aged tobacco. The Robusto formats in 'The Late Hour Series' are wrapped in a shiny, oily Ecuadorian wrapper in a magnificent dark chocolate colour, giving them even more intensity.
