Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.
Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.

"The Late Hour Series" Robusto - a more intense and spicy experience than the same format of "The Original Series".
The Nicaraguan Condega tobacco used in "The Late Hour Series", which has been aged in the finest single Scotch whisky casks, makes this cigar more intense and spicy than its original counterpart, giving it extra smoothness and deep flavours.
The use of tobacco leaves from higher leaf levels (Visus instead of Seco) also gives a more powerful effect to the cask-aged tobacco.
The Robusto formats in 'The Late Hour Series' are wrapped in a shiny, oily Ecuadorian wrapper in a magnificent dark chocolate colour, giving them even more intensity.
