Description

Brand Story

Guantanamera (literally "from Guantanamo") is the name of a famous guajira (slow song) by Cuban singer Joseito Fernandez, written around 1928. Considered to be the best-known Cuban song, it is also one of the most covered songs in the world. It is also used as the equivalent of a national symbol. Although not listed on the Habanos sa website, this brand represents the entry-level of Cuban production. It offers only mechanically-produced vitolas made from short tripe.

Product Detail

The cigars and cigarillos are made from tobacco from the Vuelta Arriba region, the second most important tobacco-growing region in Cuba. All formats are "mecanizado" - machine-made. All cigars and cigarillos of this brand are light in flavour and available at an affordable price. In fact, Guantanamera is the cheapest brand in the Habanos range.
