Cohiba Siglo 2
Cohiba Siglo 2
Description
Brand Story
Cohiba is the flagship brand of Havana cigars. Created in 1966 for Fidel Castro himself, Cohiba cigars were manufactured in the greatest secrecy at the time, and are now produced in the world-famous El Laguito factory. Originally, Cohiba cigars were only available outside Cuba as gifts for visiting heads of state and diplomats. The leaves destined for the Cohiba brand are the "crème de la crème" of the five Vegas Finas de Primera; the best plantations in the San Juan y Martinez and San Luis regions. These two sites are both located in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco production zone par excellence. The "1492" line was created to celebrate each of the centuries that have passed since Christopher Columbus discovered Cuba in 1492.
Product Detail
Though this Mareva format looks those of its kind it has its own character. With greater lightness, freshness and richness of flavours this will definately tempt the nature of those who find Cohibas too strong. One of the best things about Siglo II is the lack of harshness in the final third. It remains beautifully balanced and smokable right to the end, without any bitterness. It's a cigar that most people smoke right to the end.
