Cohiba Medio Siglo
Cohiba Medio Siglo
Description
Brand Story
Cohiba is the flagship brand of Havana cigars. Created in 1966 for Fidel Castro himself, Cohiba cigars were manufactured in the greatest secrecy at the time, and are now produced in the world-famous El Laguito factory. Originally, Cohiba cigars were only available outside Cuba as gifts for visiting heads of state and diplomats. The leaves destined for the Cohiba brand are the "crème de la crème" of the five Vegas Finas de Primera; the best plantations in the San Juan y Martinez and San Luis regions. These two sites are both located in the Vuelta Abajo tobacco production zone par excellence. The "1492" line was created to celebrate each of the centuries that have passed since Christopher Columbus discovered Cuba in 1492.
Product Detail
The Medio Siglo is short and thick, with a ring size of 52 and a length of 102 mm. It's the same for us when we smoke a cigar. You start to enjoy the cigar as a Siglo I. After a while, the cigar turns into a Siglo VI. With the Medio Silgo, Cohiba has created a cigar that perfectly embodies the last 50 years.
