CAO Pilón Toro [20]
CAO Pilón Toro [20]
Description
Brand Story
A pestle is a carefully layered pile of tobacco leaves that allows the tobacco to ferment to maximize the flavor and color of the leaves. This natural fermentation method, which dates back to the 19th century in Cuba, offers a taste and appearance that cannot be achieved any other way. CAO Pilón uses this ancestral method to offer you a cigar with deep, rich colors and unparalleled depth of flavor. While other producers' patience is tested, we believe this method creates a richer, more complex flavor that is worth returning.
Product Detail
Despite its young age, the CAO Pilón Toro, 5 x 52, is considered an old school cigar. Especially since the master blenders remembered the Pilón tradition for this cigar, namely slow fermentation in small batches.
This Toro cigar seduces with its smooth golden brown wrapper, highlighted by a few fine veins. The cream-colored belly band is both elegant in design and surprisingly informative: "Loté Pequeño" (or small batch) to indicate the status of the small batch, a list of the different tobaccos used for each component, the name and size of each vitola and even a pictogram of the Pilón circular fermentation process. How cool! With this amount of knowledge that you obtain this way, it is still the taste that will amaze and surprise you. Full of dark cocoa, toasted nuts, sweet cedarwood and warm spices, this medium-strong treat will never disappoint.
