Brand Story
The Camus cognac house, located in the Cognac Les Borderies region of France, is now in its fifth generation of producing top-quality cognacs. In 1863, the company was founded by Jean-Baptiste Camus as a distribution group for cognacs from a wide range of houses - at the time, these were marketed under the name ‘La Grande Marque’. Today, Camus is run by Cyril, Jean-Baptiste's direct descendant. Over 180 hectares, they produce the smallest and rarest crus, which generally give cognacs with intense, floral notes.
Product Detail
The Camus Intensely Aromatic range is made up of blends of the best eaux-de-vie from the Les Borderies crus, with the VSOP distinguished by its high terpenol content and incomparable floral fragrances. This is an intensely aromatic cognac whose floral and fruity aromas with notes of oak, spices and vanilla come from the meticulous selection of eaux-de-vie. They reflect the main aromas of the terroir, some of which come from the Les Borderies cru. The casks used for ageing each contain little tannin.
