Cohiba is the top brand of Havana cigars. It was created in 1966 for Máximo Líder Fidel Castro himself. Its origin has long been a big secret, as no one knows where it comes from. Basically, Cohiba was for a long time the government's unofficial private label, and it was almost impossible to get it outside of that circle. There was one big exception: as a gift reserved only for high-ranking state guests.
