Carafe Château de Laubade XO Armagnac
Carafe Château de Laubade XO Armagnac
Description
Brand Story
Château de Laubade was founded in 1870, in the heart of Bas Armagnac, the noblest terroir. Today, the third generation of the Lesgourgues family is part of a sustainable model, overseeing the destiny of the appellation's largest vineyard, covering 105 hectares and facing the Pyrenees, where the emblematic Baco remains the majority grape variety. Is the only Armagnac House coopering its own casks, from Gascony oak to ensure the finest maturing process. They use a unique range selection of rare vintages that are aged 15 to 50 years old.
Product Detail
The blended armagnacs are the result of meticulous work by the Cellar Master: the selection and blending of eaux-de-vie from different years and grape varieties to create, like a perfumer, an armagnac of great richness of flavour and aromatic complexity. X.O. is a blend of mainly Ugni Blanc and Colombard, complemented by Baco and Folle Blanche, aged for 15 to 25 years.
