Brand Story 

As an R&D researcher for 47 years, it's natural for Rod to look for a solution to any problem or frustration he encounters. And having a solid background in science and mechanical engineering is no stranger to this approach. Rod's journey into creating innovative cigar accessories began with a few frustrations that simply drove him mad! 
One of his favourite cigars, the Cuban Montecristo No. 2, has a tapered end. When he smokes a tapered cigar, Rod doesn't like to cut the tip too much. But he has consistently struggled with the extreme narrowness of the draw with this particular cigar. Preferring a slightly lighter draw resistance, Rod found that he often encountered cigars with firmer draws than he preferred. After an exhaustive search for an effective draw tool, Rod found nothing! Nothing on the market seemed to work. This led him to create what later became known as the PerfecDraw, not only his best-known accessory, but also a whole range of high-quality accessories.

Product Detail 

Typical cigar cases are made of leather and wood. Both materials are hygroscopic, which means that they absorb moisture from the air very quickly. And since cigars are generally quite soft, that's it; moisture is removed from the cigars. Even if you were to put a bag of moisture in the leather/wood case, it wouldn't do any good, because the leather/wood absorbs moisture much more quickly than humidifiers can release it. The result: cigars dry out even faster. What's more, typical cigar cases are generally not airtight, so moisture is lost to the outside air through leaks. The PerfecCase is completely different: Made from the attenuated polymer "PolyRIGIDiene™", cigars stay moist because this material loses no moisture and can be fitted with an 8gr Moisture Pack (from Boveda), so cigars stay moist even for months. With a ring gauge of 61 and an extendable length of 20.3cm, it can accommodate almost any standard cigar.
