Brand Story 

José L. Piedra is a very special brand. Unlike most Habanos, the leaves used to make its vitolas come exclusively from the Vuelta Arriba region.

Originally from Asturias, the Piedra family arrived in Cuba in the 1880s. They settled down and started producing cigars near the town of Santa Clara, in the heart of the Vuelta Arriba region, where tobacco growing had been going on since the 16th century.
It was José Lamadrid Piedra, of the second Piedra generation, who was to create and develop the brand as we know it today.

The José L. Piedra vitolas are all made totally by hand, tripa corta.

Product Detail 

The Conservas José L. Piedra have an earthy aroma that carries through the flavour, with cedar and hints of sweetness and pepper. The smoke is generous from the start, and baking spice flavours and sweet notes take over in the second half.
