Quai d'Orsay is a brand designed specifically for the French market. Created in the 1970s, it takes its name from the famous quays along the Seine in Paris. All its vitolas, which are designed to be light, are made from a combination of leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region and dressed in Claro (wax) or Colorado Claro (light brown) capes. All are Totalmento a Mano, Trip Larga (entirely handmade, long filler).

The Quai d'Orsay Corona was available in two versions, Coronas Claro and Coronas Claro Claro. The name behind ‘Coronas’ refers to the colour of the packaging, which in the first case means Colorado Claro (chestnut brown) and in the second case ‘Clarissimo’, which means almost green. However, the second version has disappeared over time. The Quai d'Orsay Corona Claro pampers smokers with pleasant cocoa flavours, combined with woody notes and earthy tones. It is exceptionally mild for a Cuban cigar, making it ideal for beginners.

In 2013, the first Davidoff cigar with a black band was launched. The newly born Black Band collection was aimed at dynamic and adventurous aficionados looking for unfamiliar flavours and more intense palate stimulation. To celebrate the tenth anniversary of this milestone, Davidoff's master blenders created an impressive Gran Toro cigar that had to reach new levels of flavour. And that's exactly what they succeeded in doing with their combination of very mature tobaccos, which they had never before blended in a blend.

The Davidoff Nicaragua 10th Anniversary Limited Edition pampers aficionados with a full, intense flavour adventure, in which the Estelí Seco tripe tobacco, matured in rum casks, adds incomparable depth, while the remarkable total age of the tobaccos of 45 years ensures sensitive balance. Gran Toro begins with complex aromas of nuts, soon complemented by fresh spices and leather. This is followed by intense aromas of oak, café au lait and eucalyptus. Notes of black coffee and fresh herbs are added to the roasted aromas at the end of the cigar. A Nicaraguan rum is the perfect match for the Gran Toro. Its spicy notes and generally less sweet taste perfectly complement the cigar's aromas of roasted nuts, oak wood and black coffee.
