Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.
Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.

The CAO Pilón Robusto Extra, measuring 5 x 52, is considered, despite its young age, to be an old-school cigar. This is particularly because the master blenders remembered for this cigar the Pilón tradition, of slow fermentation in small batches.
This magnificent robusto cigar seduces with its smooth golden brown wrapper, highlighted by a few fine veins. The cream-colored belly band is both elegant in design and surprisingly informative: "Loté Pequeño" (or small batch) to indicate the status of the small batch, a list of the different tobaccos used for each component, the name and size of each vitola and even a pictogram of the Pilón circular fermentation process. How cool! With all the knowledge it brings you, it's still the taste that will amaze and surprise you. Full of dark cocoa, toasted nuts, sweet cedarwood, and warm spices, this medium-strong treat will never disappoint.
