Bielle Liqueur Vanille
Bielle Liqueur Vanille
Description
Brand Story
With its 100 mills, Marie-Galante has always been the island of sugar cane. The Bielle Distillery was founded at the end of the 19th century. It developed over time under different owners. Sugar production was no longer needed in the small "Sucrottes" and was replaced by a distillery producing agricultural rum. The Bielle Distillery continues the old tradition of producing agricultural rum from pure sugar cane juice.

Tasting Notes
Nose: This is a very sweet candy with cane sugar in it. Vanilla doesn't immediately take its place, but is replaced by cinnamon and pepper. Like burning a banana in a pan, there is a delicious brown sugar caramelization. The woody character that emerges seems to come from the vanilla bean.
Flavor: The sweetness of the vanilla dominates, followed by a combination of rich, fresh spices like nutmeg, pepper and cinnamon with sugar, reminiscent of soda.
Finish: A caramelized finish that sweetens the lips.
