1840 would be the first known date of the Punch brand, registered by a German named Stockmann. Manuel Lopez Fernandez became the owner in 1884 and took the cigar up the first steps of the modern era. From 1898 to 1922, thanks to Manuel's inventive and energetic management, the brand reached its peak. In 1930, Punch became part of the Fernandez Palacio Group. Along with Belinda, La Esception and Hoyo de Monterrey, Punch was manufactured in the Rayo Street factory until the advent of the revolution.Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.

The cigar is slightly creamy with a subtle sweetness. Woody notes and spicy aromas complete the cigar's full body.  The tobaccos used have been carefully grown and processed by hand at the Vuelta Abajo in Pinar del Río.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
