Handcrafted at the Tabacalera de García in the Dominican Republic by the Grupo de Maestros, this cigar features a refined blend of tobaccos from various origins, wrapped in a Connecticut Ecuador leaf. It delivers a smooth and balanced experience, highlighted by woody aromas, with notes of cocoa, almond, and a touch of honey, leading to a long-lasting finish.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
