If there's one cigar factory that's famous in Havana, it's Partagas. Founded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas, it is located in the heart of Havana, on Calle Industria 520. Today, Partagás Serie E No.2 is launched on the market as Gran Reserva, a still young format produced with tobacco from the 2015 harvest. Only tobacco that has matured for at least five years is used for the filler, wrapper and binder of Gran Reservas, which come from the finest plantations in the Pinar del Rio region. The word “cosecha” means “harvest” in Spanish, and refers to the year in which the tobacco leaves are harvested.
