Quai d'Orsay is a brand designed specifically for the French market. Created in the 1970s, it takes its name from the famous quays along the Seine in Paris. All its vitolas, which are designed to be light, are made from a combination of leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region and dressed in Claro (wax) or Colorado Claro (light brown) capes. All are Totalmento a Mano, Trip Larga (entirely handmade, long filler).

The Quai d'Orsay Corona was available in two versions, Coronas Claro and Coronas Claro Claro. The name behind ‘Coronas’ refers to the colour of the packaging, which in the first case means Colorado Claro (chestnut brown) and in the second case ‘Clarissimo’, which means almost green. However, the second version has disappeared over time. The Quai d'Orsay Corona Claro pampers smokers with pleasant cocoa flavours, combined with woody notes and earthy tones. It is exceptionally mild for a Cuban cigar, making it ideal for beginners.

And anyone visiting this region of the Pinar del Rio province would want to taste these cigars made in the very places where the best tobacco in the world grows. So, in 1996, a brand called Vegueros was launched, a tribute to the countless generations of farmers in the Pinar del Rio region who devote their lives to tobacco.

The cigar is of medium strength. Its aromatic palette includes a strong herbal touch combined with the typical smell of grass. An earthy nuance also spreads across the smoker's palate. Then, discreetly, with each puff, creamy, sweet notes envelop the tongue.
