The Grupo de Maestros de Tabacalera de García in La Romana has created a top-of-the-range cigar distinguished by its elegant vitola: Coronas Extra (cepo 46 x 159 mm) and its original double pigtail, which simulates the snake's tongue, one of its most distinctive attributes.
The result is a cigar characterised by a blend of woody and floral aromas and an exquisite taste of coffee, almond, vanilla and nutmeg.
VegaFina Year of the Snake 2025 is presented in an attractive red lacquered box with an original gold design. Each box contains 16 cigars divided into two blocks of 8, in reference to the lucky number in China. The cigars are dressed with the brand's new standard ring and an additional ring at the foot, matching the box.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
