This premium cigar was first launched on the market in 2016 as an Edición Limitada and was so appreciated by aficionados that Trinidad has now added this format to its standard portfolio. The vitola has a ring gauge of 56 and a length of 125 mm and impresses with its typical, complex strength and subtle flavour variations of cedar wood and coffee.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
