Brand Story
If there's one cigar factory that's famous in Havana, it's Partagas. Founded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagas, it is located in the heart of Havana, on Calle Industria 520. You can tell a Partagas by its deep, earthy aroma. The typical character of the blend comes from a selection of tobacco leaves from the Vuelta Abajo region, chosen for their very rich aromas. Partagas offers a wide choice of vitolas. The best known are Series D No. 4, Series P No. 2, Lusitanias and 8-9-8. All are tripa larga, totalmente a mano.
Product Detail
The name ‘Royales’ also has a long history within the Partagás house. It refers to an old vitola that was
already part of the brand’s range back in the 1960s. Its revival is therefore an expression of the desire
to build on Partagás’s historical heritage whilst breathing new life into it.
The Partagás Royales were unveiled to mark the 180th anniversary of the Partagás house, which was
celebrated in 2025. This creation pays tribute to almost two centuries of history and continues the link
between the brand’s historical references and new generations of Habanos. This Habano, in the
Dichosos format 48 × 150 mm, is made entirely by hand with a long filler, using selected leaves
from Vuelta Abajo, in Pinar del Río.
