Por Larrañaga is another Cuban brand with a long history.

Founded in 1834, it has enjoyed an excellent reputation ever since for the quality and style of its Habanos.

Its catalogue features Habanos made from leaves grown in the Vuelta Abajo region.Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.

The Por Larrañaga Montecarlo is a well-built cigar with a fat, pleasant wrapper. It is entirely handmade and has a regular, medium-firm roll. When tasted, Por Larrañaga Montecarlos gives off notes of earth and mushrooms. With each puff, the structure deepens, without sinking into uncontrolled nervousness. A cigar of great rigour, both in its construction and its aromas.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
