It's no coincidence that the brand was launched in the UK in November 1996. Cuaba was officially born out of a gamble by the directors of Habanos SA to revive the fashion for figurados, which were very popular with the British in the 19th century.
Juan Carlos Izqierdo Gonzalez, who was a torcedor for forty-eight years at Romeo y Julieta, was entrusted with the task of training the first professionals in this very special technique. Today, the Romeo y Julieta factory has a special school dedicated to training torcedores for the Cuaba.Trinidad is one of the most prestigious brands of Habanos. The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. The Trinidad brand is aimed above all at Habanos lovers looking for absolute quality with an exclusive character.

An ideal player for anyone who wants to try Cuaba or is already in the thick of it! Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
