The brand was created in 1969 and, like Cohiba, remained an exclusive gift for diplomats and foreign dignitaries for many years. In 1998, the brand was commercialised. Heading north into the mysterious, mountainous landscape of Nicaragua's Estelí and Condega regions, our master blender captured the strength and spice of this harsh but fertile region. The Avo Syncro Fogata Toro is an intense, yet smooth and balanced cigar. A blend of Visus and Ligero filler leaves from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic influences the taste experience in terms of strength and aroma. From the start you are greeted by an exotic and wild flavor profile, notes of coffee, salt, cedar, citrus and sweetness seduce and emphasize the overall intensity.Launched in 2004 and retired after eight years, this vitola left a lasting mark on cigar lovers. In 2024, Habanos S.A. revived it for the Trinidad brand’s 55th anniversary during the Habanos World Days in London. Presented in elegant boxes of three, the cigars feature three bands, including a commemorative anniversary band and the iconic “T” foot band. The medium-bodied Robusto Extra measures 6 1/8” by 50 ring gauge, with a signature pigtail cap. Hand-rolled with select Vuelta Abajo leaves, it preserves the classic, aromatic character of the original.
